Since 1987 we’ve done a wide range of portraits in Chicago for businesses and individuals. All of our assignments have certain features in common:
• We can shoot in a studio setting or on location, inside or outside, including your home or office.
• You get hi-res copies of all images on a disc at the end of the shoot.
• You get full publication and reproduction rights to all images. We don’t charge you for each print like your neighborhood photographer.

• Images are composed in an interesting and artistic manner like the shots you see in better magazines. Everything doesn’t have to be centered, looking like the images you see in the typical local photographer’s window. Our background is in fashion photography. So even with non-fashion projects, we try to add whatever flair and artistry that is appropriate to the project.
• Images are lit well to show the subject and to add interest.
• Hair, make-up, and styling services are available.
• We create a friendly working environment in which we can collaborate with you. We can make you a co-creator in the work, or if you prefer, you can just let us guide you through every step of the creative process. Our goal is to have your photos radiate a mood that is compelling, interesting, and appropriate to your project and it’s goals.
• We provide you with fast service and very reasonable rates on all services.
We do formal and informal portraits, working portraits, environmental portraits, group portraits, events. Maybe you would like a shot of your CEO that is well lit and carefully composed and looks like it could be a cover of Fortune or Forbes. Maybe you need shots for publicity or for web or print media, or for your firm’s facebook or website.

We do the traditional portraits every family needs, but we try to do them in a non-traditional way, avoiding the routine, cookie-cutter look that nearly all portrait photographers usually provide. If you want everyone nicely dressed, centered and smiling in front of the camera, fine. But if you would like your shots to be more interesting and personal, like the shots of celebrities you might see in Vanity Fair, better. Whether it’s for framing and mounting on your wall or just for a family album, we’ll work with you to add those special touches that make it satisfying and memorable.
We made this name up to describe a category of shots that are planned and executed the way we would do a fashion shot for a fashion ad or editorial. The only difference is that we’re doing it for your personal use. That means more attention to hair and make-up, styling the wardrobe, location, lighting, mood, posing, etc. The goal is as much about your style as it is about the way you look. We do this by drawing on our experience in shooting many fashion assignments and more than 7,000 models during the last 20 years.
